Loxley Box Splints provide an excellent method of immobilising legs in anatomical positions. The breaking and fracturing of bones is unfortunately quite a frequent occurrence in the world of sport. Whether a combat sport, contact or non-contact, a collision, fall, or impact damage is always possible. A skater can easily turn an ankle on landing, a footballer can lose their footing on a muddy/wet pitch or a kickboxer could break a limb striking an opponent’s leg. However it happens, whatever the circumstance, the first aid/medical team must be prepared with the right products to immobilise the injured limbs and prevent further damage.
