The album was co-produced and engineered by the band and longtime associate Martin Birch. It is the only Deep Purple studio record featuring Tommy Bolin, who replaced Ritchie Blackmore on guitar and is also the final of three albums to feature Glenn Hughes on bass and David Coverdale on lead vocals before he later left to form Whitesnake. On visual inspection I can’t see any needle scratches or indeed any marks that would cause any clicks or pops. Any marks that could possibly be seen anglerd in strong light would be light whyspy sleeve removal type only. The playing surface is lovely. The Audio Quality: I have played this vinyl at very loud volume prior to this listing on a top system. The audio is cristal clear and vibrant through out no distortion or any signs of groove wear at all. I heard no clicks or pops during the play of this vinyl. Lovely sounding copy. Audio graded at least excellent plus to near mint in my opinion. This has obviously only had very minimal play in mt opinion. The Record Sleeve: This is the original lyric record sleeve light creasing, browning, becoming fragile with age at the edges only. The Cover: This is the original 1st issue Garrod & Lofthouse fullylaminated gate fold cover. There are no real nasty creases on the front to mention this is nice and straight as it should be. no edge splits or tares. The rear is also lovely. This cover is not far from like it just came out of the shop in my opinion any storage ware or bumping is very minimal. I would grade this at least excellent plus to very Near Mint in my opinion. Summery: A very underated album by Deep Purple I personally love this album and becoming extremely collectable in this condition and being a first pressing. PAYMENTS: Please note!
